Blue Star Performance competed in the Builders Competition at the Chrysler Classic Event in Norwalk, Ohio September 12-14, 2008 and were crowned the 2008 Mopar Builder of the Year!!! This competition was designed to recognize those who take measures and make an effort to correctly restore Mopars to their original and correct build specifications. Blue Star will be profiled in an upcoming article of Mopar Collectors Guide Magazine where we will be named 2008's Mopar Builder of the Year. The photo shoot for the 1970 Hemi Challenger, which we chose as our pick for this competition, will be taking place at the 2008 Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis Missouri September 19th - 21st. The judges of this event were from the International Chrysler Collector Authority, including Dave Wise and Paul Jacobs.
